Johnny Depp reportedly has a new woman in his life.

Page Six learned that the 59-year-old actor is dating London-based lawyer Joelle Rich. As reported, she is an attorney and was part of the legal team that represented him in his libel trial against The Sun in the United Kingdom amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rich is said to be married but separated. It is also claimed that her divorce may not have been finalized yet.

The outlet later noted that it remains unclear when the reported relationship between the lawyer and the “Secret Window” actor began. As added, reps for the celebrity could not be reached for comment.

While details remain scarce, a source told People that Johnny Depp and Joelle Rich are indeed dating. However, the relationship is said to be “not serious” at the moment.

The magazine later recalled that Rich was in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star’s legal camp during his case against The Sun. He sued the newspaper for libel, with his former wife, Amber Heard, testifying to back up the claims.

Depp lost the case in November 2020. He and his legal team attempted to overturn the decision but was overruled in March 2021.

In the highly publicized legal battle between Amber Heard and the “Into The Woods” actor, Joelle Rich was not among his lawyers. Even so, reports claimed she made several court appearances to show support.

Us Weekly was the first to report the news of the said relationship between Joelle Rich and Johnny Depp.

A source told the publication that the London-based lawyer had “no professional obligation” in the defamation case in Virginia. As stated, her attendance “was personal,” adding that she and the “Alice in Wonderland” actor “discreetly” met up in hotels during the early stages of their romantic tie.

On the said relationship, the same insider claimed that Depp and Rich’s “chemistry is off the charts.” It is also alleged that things are “serious between them,” noting that “they are the real deal.”

The “Donnie Brasco” actor previously faced dating rumors and speculations, involving him and his lawyer Camille Vasquez. She was part of the actor’s legal team during his defamation case against Amber Heard.

Following the speculations, though, the 38-year-old lawyer addressed the matter and dismissed the discussions. She also expressed “resentment” toward it, according to People.

Speaking to the magazine at the time, Vasquez said it likely “comes with the territory of being a woman just doing her job.” She also stated that it is “an unethical charge being made,” adding that “it is sexist.”
