Kate Middleton couldn’t allegedly help but be anxious because of her new role as the Princess of Wales.

However, a source for New Idea claimed that she’s also trying her best to take things in stride.

Royal commentator Phil Dampier predicted that Middleton will do a wonderful job as the new Princess of Wales. But the last thing that she wants is to be compared with other Princess of Wales that came before her.

“The new Princess of Wales appreciates the history associated with this role but will understandably want to look to the future as she creates her own path,” the source said.

Dampier also weighed in by saying that Prince William and Middleton now have an important role to play for the British monarchy.

“They are doing things their way and taking the monarchy forward in the 21st century. They don’t expect people to curtsy or bow and scrape and just like Princess Diana, they are happy to hand out hugs when required,” the source said.

Dampier also thinks that Queen Elizabeth would be happy to know that Prince William and Middleton are doing so well and would feel the future is safe with them.

As of late, Prince William and Middleton already visited Wales following the death of the queen. But the couple has not started their duties as the new Prince and Princess of Wales. After all, they are still preoccupied with the vigils and mourning following the queen’s passing.

Even though the new role might seem overwhelming for Middleton, it is important to note that she has never commented on her new job at hand. So, no one knows for sure how she feels about it.

It is also important to note that Middleton has been working for the British monarchy for years. This means that she has long been preparing for her role as the Princess of Wales.

When the queen was still alive, she also trained and guided Middleton into her role as the Duchess of Cambridge. So, the mom of three received plenty of training and guidance to sustain her in her new role as Princess of Wales.

There’s no indication that Middleton is worried or overwhelmed by the role. In fact, she is predicted to thrive and do her best just like what she’s been doing after all these years.
