King Charles and Princess Anne were by Queen Elizabeth’s side when she took her last breath.

Now, New Idea is claiming that the siblings already realized that their mom was nearing her end in the early morning of Sept. 8.

It wasn’t until several hours later that the queen’s passing was announced to the entire world. But a statement from the palace first revealed that her doctors were concerned for her health.

Princess Anne was already in Balmoral with the queen so she saw how quickly Her Majesty deteriorated. King Charles, on the other hand, traveled to Balmoral immediately after hearing a word from his mom’s doctors.

He reportedly arrived in Balmoral at around 10:30 a.m. and saw that the queen was not doing good.

A source claimed that before the queen died, she only had one thing to say to King Charles and it was for him and Prince William to repair their relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

“She understood their frustration, but it broke her heart to see her grandson so fractured. It wasn’t so much a wish, but she was ever so glad to have met Harry and Meghan’s daughter Lilibet over her Jubilee. She suspected it might have been her first and only time to meet the little girl named after her,” the source said.

Royal commentator Phil Dampier also thinks that King Charles had several conversations with the queen before her passing regarding his current role as the new monarch.

“That means the monarchy surviving and doing what it does best, uniting people. Above all, no one will want to let the queen down,” he said.

At the end of the day, all eyes are focused on the royal family right now following the queen’s death. And everyone is hoping that the former monarch’s passing is the key to repairing her family’s strained relationship.

Of course, Prince William and Prince Harry made sure to reunite for the sake of their grandmother. But royal fans still can’t help but wonder if this reunion also means reconciliation. And they are saying that only time will tell if this is the case.

But for now, the queen’s funeral is what’s keeping the royal family on their toes. She will be buried at Windsor Castle. And Prince Harry and Markle are expected to visit her in private.
