Meghan Markle continues to face backlash over her recent claims. One royal expert even reportedly stated that she could do with an “intervention” after labeling the assertions as “untrue” and “nonsense.”

Express UK reported that Robert Jobson was the one who made the statement during an engagement with the Australian morning show, “Sunrise.” He is said to have discussed the former working royal’s claims in a recent interview for New York’s magazine, “The Cut.”

The expert reportedly tackled the Duchess of Sussex’s assertion about her children that “if she had taken [them] to school in the United Kingdom, there would be 40 press outside every day pursuing them.” He is noted to have explained that in the United States, “they believe in this stuff but in truth, there are rules [in the U.K.] set by the press,” prohibiting them from doing what she said.

Robert Jobson reportedly continued that Meghan Markle’s claim is “not true.” He is said to have pointed out that the press is not allowed outside schools, adding that “they would be moved along.”

As later added, the royal expert also revealed that “there will be a set, one for the first day of school, and that will be it.”

Elsewhere in the engagement, Jobson is stated to have suggested that the Duchess of Sussex needs an “intervention.”

The outlet quoted the royal expert, reportedly saying, “I think that some of this stuff is just so nonsensical, so untrue that there should be some sort of intervention.”

It continues, “Nobody in these interviews is picking her up on these claims and saying, ‘Where are you getting them from?’”

But, in that particular claim alone, Meghan Markle has already received several criticisms from other royal experts. Since the publication of the interview on Monday, it has sparked conversations among commentators and journalists.

A separate report from Express UK noted that several personalities in the said field slammed the former actress and branded her claims as “misleading.”

It cited GB News’ Dan Wootton’s argument, calling out her statements as “rubbish.” He was said to have countered that Prince William and Kate Middleton take their children to school “most days unseen.”

The outlet also quoted royal expert Richard Eden, reportedly stating, “It’s important that the misleading claims made by [Meghan Markle] in this interview are exposed.”

Royal correspondent Richard Palmer was said to have echoed the sentiments, as well. He reportedly asserted that the Duchess of Sussex is a “fantasist if she believes this would be a daily occurrence in the U.K., where the [IPSO] code has strict rules about the treatment of children in education.”
