Demi Lovato may no longer release any more documentaries about her life. She recently opened up about the matter, seemingly making it clear she is done putting her life story on screen.

The 30-year-old singer shared her thoughts to Alternative Press for the promotion of her new studio album, “Holy Fvck.” The exchange between the artist and the outlet first surfaced earlier last week, just a few days after the release of the track collection.

Lovato, who now uses both she/her and they/them pronouns, revealed that she is “sick of watching herself.” She believes the same goes for others, leading her to decide she would no longer put out documentaries in the future.

E! News, in its latest piece covering the interview, quoted the “Solo” singer, saying, “Honestly, I’m really sick of watching myself, and I think other people probably are too. And if they are not, then they can watch my music videos.”

Demi Lovato also shared some of her “regrets” about doing the documentaries in the past. Although these were tools she used to help explain what she was going through, she admitted to likely doing them too soon.

The “Cool For The Summer” singer said she wishes she would have waited until she had her “s*** figured out more because now it’s cemented.” She consequently noted that nothing else works for her except “sobriety.”

But while documentaries will likely no longer be an option, Demi Lovato emphasized that her story is “not done.” She hinted at using other avenues, like interviews and books, saying, “So I want to be able to say by the time I’ve written a book, ‘OK, this is me grown up.’”

Elsewhere in the exchange, the “Unbroken” artist talked about her future music and albums. As noted, she is “fairly certain” that her “rock era is here to stay.”

Lovato, nevertheless, pondered on probably making an acoustic album. She said that “maybe one day” she will do it, adding, however, that her “pop-R&B days are gonezo.”

Meanwhile, the “Give Your Heart A Break” singer just entered a new chapter of her life. She turned 30 a day after the official release of her eighth album, “Holy Fvck.”

People said Demi Lovato celebrated her birthday with her new boyfriend, Jutes. As reported, they were seen walking hand in hand as they left Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California.

The magazine later recalled that the outing came days after she and the musician stepped out for the first time as a couple in New York City.
