Princess Diana allegedly died thinking that Prince Charles got their son Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny pregnant.

An unnamed source told Globe that even though the nanny’s name has already been cleared by authorities, Princess Diana never found out the truth. So, she died thinking that her version of events was the accurate one.

“Sadly, Diana never learned the truth. She was heartbroken over the affair and abortion and it prompted her to air all the details of her troubled marriage to Charles on the BBC in 1995. She saw the interview as an act of self-preservation and revenge. Diana feared there was no end to the damning betrayals by Charles, who’d been cheating on her with his married mistress, Camilla Parker Bowles, who is now his wife,” the source said.

The source said that prior to and even after the interview, Princess Diana became increasingly paranoid because she didn’t know who she could trust. She was also convinced that there was a conspiracy to get rid of her permanently. So, before this could even happen, she decided to walk away from it all.

“We believe she might be alive today if she’d known she’d been conned because the BBC interview was actually her public declaration of divorce. The agonizing lies she was told by the BBC ensured a very skewed and false view of the situation she was in. This terrible scandal deceived her into forgoing those who cared for her and would have protected her,” the source said.

Princess Diana ultimately relied on her boyfriend Dodi Al-Fayed’s security, but they proved to be totally incompetent. In the end, Princess Diana and Al-Fayed both passed away following a tragic car crash in Paris.

The couple was there vacationing when the paparazzi chased their car. The couple’s driver tried his best to run away from the cameras but he got into an accident inside the tunnel.

Princess Diana was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. And Prince Charles had the harrowing task of telling his sons about their mother’s passing.

In recent years, Prince William and Prince Harry both opened up about the impact of Princess Diana’s death. They both said that it took them years to come to terms with the loss of their beloved mother.
