Vladimir Putin and his aide, Alexander Dugin narrowly escaped an assassination attempt that took the life of the latter’s daughter, Darya.

According to Radar Online, Putin and Dugin were supposed to use the car that Darya was transported, but they used a different vehicle. Darya ended up using the car that was meant for his dad and the Russian leader and ended up being killed after a bomb was planted under the vehicle.

A source claimed that Dugin was spotted staring at the car as it was engulfed in flames and realized that his daughter was inside the transportation.

Following the tragic incident, Russians are urging Putin to launch another attack on Ukraine because they are allegedly the ones that planted the bomb in the vehicle.

The Ukraine nationals allegedly wanted to have Putin killed, especially after what he had done to them in the past couple of months.

Andrey Krasnov, a friend of Darya’s, said that she knew the 35-year-old personally. He also confirmed that the car that Darya used was meant for her dad and Putin.

“This was the father’s vehicle. Darya… took his car today, while Alexander went in a different way. He returned, and he was at the site of the tragedy. As far as I understand, Alexander or probably both of them were the target,” he said.

An investigation is currently underway, and authorities are still confirming whether or not the claims are true. If it is, Russian officers will most likely up the security for Putin, who has been a target among his enemies.

Other than the failed assassination attempt, Putin has also been making headlines due to his alleged health problems.

Last week, Globe claimed that Putin was spotted limping and he was also struggling to move his arm.

Weeks earlier, another tabloid claimed that Putin has lost his grip and he’s having a hard time walking.

And then there was a time when the Russian leader was allegedly spotted with a swollen face, which could mean that he’s been undergoing chemotherapy because of his cancer.

However, none of these rumors are true. Putin is healthy. And if he isn’t, his aides will be the one to share the news with the world.

As of late, there’s also no proof that Putin was the target of the failed assassination or that Ukrainians were behind it.
