Will Smith allegedly gained weight due to the stress caused by his ongoing feud with Chris Rock. And it has been claimed that his new frame has made it difficult for him to be intimate with his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.

A source told Globe that Smith has been drowning his sadness in food. And he has not been reaching out for healthy variants.

“He’s eating tons of carbs like bread and pasta, sweets, and anything else to make him feel better and barely exercising. He can cover up in public with baggy clothes, but the jowls and swollen face are there for all to see and it’s a sorry sight,” the source said.

The source claimed that not a lot of people noticed Smith’s sudden weight gain. After all, he has been wearing baggy clothes in public to cover up the weight. But the actor cannot hide his swollen face and puffy cheeks.

For now, Smith is focused on trying to repair his relationship with Rock. At home, he’s also trying to save his marriage. After all, his wife thinks he’s sloppy and refuses to sleep with him in the same room.

“She’s kept her cool, but then she was always stronger than Will ever was. She’ll likely look for fun elsewhere if he doesn’t sort himself out,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Smith packed on several pounds due to stress.

The tabloid cannot also prove their claims because the photo of Will that they uploaded alongside their story didn’t show the actor with his alleged puffy face.

Smith still looks the same as before and there’s no indication that the stress got to him to the point that he’s been binge eating.

It’s not also true that Smith and his wife are having problems in their marriage because of the weight that he gained.

By the looks of it, the tabloid just made up this story to make it seem as though Smith is struggling to cope due to his fallout with Rock.

For now, the actor may not be allowed to take part in the Academy or even appear in movies under the Academy but life goes on and he has no choice but to move forward.
