Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are once again being pitted against each other after the latter nabbed her second Emmy nomination for The Morning Show.

Even though Aniston and Witherspoon both star in the hit Apple TV series, only Witherspoon’s performance has been noticed by the award-giving body.

A source told Life & Style that Aniston’s refusal to congratulate Witherspoon publicly on her recent nomination proves that she’s jealous of her co-star’s success.

“For all their displays of love and support online, Jen was silent about Reese’s big achievement. How could Reese not see it as a snub? There have been ongoing jealousy issues. Now, their feud is exploding again,” the source said.

The source also said that even though Aniston is not as social media savvy as Witherspoon, she should’ve still exerted an effort to congratulate her on her nomination. After all, this would’ve shut down all the feud and jealousy rumors that have been circulating online for years.

According to the insider, Aniston and Witherspoon were thrilled to have been cast on The Morning Show together. But if it were only up to them, they wouldn’t choose to work with each other.

“Some claim Jen’s jealous of Reese for having the showier role, but others say Reese is too competitive. The consensus on set is that there is a power struggle. Their dynamic has definitely changed between them. They went from being friends to dislike each other,” the source said.

This isn’t the first time that Aniston and Witherspoon are rumored to be feuding. Years ago, a similar storyline was released by the tabloids after Witherspoon scored her first Emmy nomination for The Morning Show.

At the time, multiple sources also claimed that Aniston was jealous of Witherspoon’s success. And others even went as far as saying that Aniston vowed to never work with Witherspoon again because she overshadows her.

However, none of these claims are true. Even though Aniston did not congratulate Witherspoon on social media, this doesn’t mean that she didn’t congratulate her in private.

And even though the Friends star did not score an Emmy nomination, she also shares Witherspoon’s success because they are part of the same series.

It is also important to note that the A-listers have been friends for years. In fact, Witherspoon even played the role of Aniston’s onscreen younger sister in Friends.
