Are Kate Middleton And Salma Hayek Playing Matchmaker For Tom Cruise?
Tom Cruise has been single since his split from Katie Holmes in 2012. And even though it seems that he’s enjoying his single life, multiple tabloids have been urging the actor to find love.
In fact, two tabloids this week claimed that Cruise, who doesn’t seem to have any interest in finding love again, needs the help of some of his closest friends.
“Tom’s mostly based in London now and he and Kate have met a few times. She’s always found him to be incredibly charming,” the source said.
The Duchess of Cambridge also thinks that Cruise is a great catch that’s why she’s on board with helping him find love.
“She not only knows a lot of celebrities and socialites, but she understands the importance of discretion. Tom’s next date could very well be set up by royalty,” the source said.
A second source told New Idea that Hayek is especially keen on pairing Cruise with Angelina Jolie. After all, the Maleficent star has been loveless since 2016 after her divorce from Brad Pitt.
“Tom isn’t thrilled about being single at 60. And Angie envies how Salma found a worldly soulmate and would love that type of guy for herself,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Cruise is even interested in finding love. After all, the actor seems happy and content with being single.
And it’s not also true that Middleton and Hayek are wasting their time playing matchmaker for the actor.
If Cruise is interested in dating someone, he would be the one to exert an effort to get to know the person. Since he’s an A-lister in Hollywood, it wouldn’t be hard for him to meet women.
But the fact that he hasn’t introduced anyone to his fans means that he’s not searching for love.
In fact, all the rumors claiming that he dated his Mission: Impossible co-star, Hayley Atwell are not true either. And it’s also incorrect to say that the co-stars’ relationship failed after they wrapped up filming for their latest movie.
