Britney Spear allegedly wants to protect her $60 million fortune from her husband, Sam Asghari.

According to Us Weekly, Spears already has an irrefutable prenuptial agreement in place. After all, she thinks it would be overwhelming to discuss things with Asghari if they end up divorcing.

“She found it overwhelming to discuss finer points, like how much Sam would walk away with if they split. In the end, she signed on the dotted line,” the source said.

The prenup also allegedly protects Asghari. After all, it states that the personal trainer will get $1 million every two years in spousal support. However, there’s a cap of $10 million after 15 years.

Asghari is also asked to waive claims to his wife’s music catalog, signed an NDA, and agreed to put their house in an LLC.

And now that their prenup has gotten out of their way, the source claimed that Spears and Asghari are more focused on making their marriage work.

“It feels like a huge weight’s been lifted. Britney is so proud to have Sam as her husband, and vice versa,” the source said.

In June, reports also claimed that Spears and Asghari signed an ironclad prenup. According to TMZ, precautionary measures were put in place days before they tied the knot.

One of the things listed in the prenuptial agreement is that everything that Spears earned before she married Asghari would be protected.

During his interview with GQ, Asghari denied the claims that he’s simply a househusband to Spears because the singer is earning so much more than what he’s getting.

He said that even though he was dating an icon in the music industry, they still negotiate their finances just like any other couple.

“I’m not a househusband. I’m a normal person. So I do a lot of shopping because sometimes I require specific things when it comes to diet. I don't want to spend $200 on something that I can buy for $60. I am careful with money because I do want to build a future for my children. If you came to this country, you came with a purpose. You don't come here to goof around,” he said.

Asghari also confirmed that he and Spears take turns on who pays for their dinner dates. And he also revealed that they don’t have a joint bank account.
