Fans are in favor of Camilla Parker Bowles becoming the next Queen Consort of the British Monarchy.

In a recent poll conducted by the publication from July 16 to July 19, asking netizens whether they support Prince Charles’ wife with her new title when her husband becomes King, the majority of the respondents said “yes.”

The outlet revealed that over 10,600 individuals participated in the poll, and 67 percent of them are in favor. This equates to more than 7,100 people, supporting the Duchess of Cornwall as the monarchy’s Queen Consort.

Only 31 percent of the data population answered “no,” while a little two percent chose to abstain, saying they “did not know.”

The publication later shared what some of the respondents commented after participating in the poll.

Some individuals asserted that Camilla Parker Bowles is “deserving” of the new title. Others even pointed out that the royal has “won [their] respect,” adding that she is an "asset" to the British Royal Family and a “wonderful wife and help” to Prince Charles.

A few commentators also noted that they are “perfectly happy” with the Queen’s decision to back the Duchess of Cornwall in becoming the next Queen Consort.

The netizens’ assertions come months after Queen Elizabeth II made her “sincere wish” known that Camilla Parker Bowles will become "Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service.”

The British Monarch said her piece when she delivered her Jubilee message earlier in February. It marks the beginning of the historic celebration of her seven-decade reign as the Queen of the United Kingdom.

Following the announcement, Prince Charles released an official statement, acknowledging the Queen’s wish.

CBS News quoted the future monarch, writing, “[Camilla and I] are deeply conscious of the honor represented by my mother’s wish.”

Meanwhile, Camilla Parker Bowles recently marked a life milestone as she turned 75 on Sunday.

In an interview with British Vogue, in celebration of the special day, the future Queen Consort discussed her plans for her birthday. She even poked fun at her grandchildren, revealing that they would try to persuade her to have her ears pierced.

The Duchess of Cornwall said she would not give it to herself as a 75th birthday present, adding that “nothing is going to pierce [her] ears.”

The royal later revealed that she would have a “low-key affair” instead, noting that “there would not be much celebration.” She added that she would spend her birthday with her “family and a few friends.”
