Netizens think Prince Harry should cancel his upcoming memoir.

Express UK recently held a poll, asking its readers whether the royal-born Prince should “spike” the tell-all book. More than 2,000 individuals participated from Wednesday To Friday, with the majority saying he must.

59 percent of the data population, which equates to 1,219 people, reportedly answered “yes” to the question. On the other hand, 38 percent of the respondents or 778 voters said otherwise, noting he should not cancel his book altogether.

The remaining three percent, or 60 individuals, seemingly chose to abstain from the poll. As stated, they answered “Don’t Know” to the question as they did not know either way.

The publication consequently shared that hundreds of readers commented on the poll and revealed their thoughts about the matter. It said that many netizens agreed that Prince Harry should not publish his memoir, with one saying they would not read it even if they received it as a gift.

Another commentator reportedly stated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex believe they are “important” and their views matter. As added, “they should close their mouths and go find the privacy they claimed they wanted.”

This appears to have led the outlet to conclude that many individuals deem the memoir of the royal-born Prince as “unimportant.”

The same publication later recalled the assertions GB News host Mark Dolan recently made about the royal tell-all book. As reported, he believes that Prince Harry’s material should be “spiked” by his own publisher.

The outlet quoted the personality, saying, “It seems this lad wants to pen a misery memoir in which he moans for 300 pages about how terrible his life is.”

He adds, “The irony will be lost on him… that this tearful account will be penned from his luxury 16-bathroom Montecito mansion.”

Dolan reportedly noted, as well, that he wishes the Duke of Sussex would flush the manuscript “down one of those loos.” He argued that he has got no problem with him moving on, “but that’s exactly what he needs to do, and therefore spike his miserable memoir.”

The poll from Express UK comes after reports of a possible delay to the release of Prince Harry’s memoir surfaced across media platforms.

The Sun was first to report about the matter, noting that royal insiders were surprised to learn that the book was not on the publisher’s list of upcoming books.

A source explained to the outlet that if the memoir is coming out this year, “it should be in the publisher’s marketing and promotional list… unless they are planning a surprise or there has been a delay.”

Following the claims, though, a spokesperson clarified that the publisher does not include every book on its list, “so there is nothing to be extrapolated from that.”
