Vladimir Putin is accused of lying about his yearly salary.

According to Globe, the Russian leader previously claimed that he only earns a meager salary of $85,000 yearly.

However, a source claimed that this couldn’t be the case because Putin has a slew of illegal businesses. As such, he allegedly earns as much as $160 billion yearly.

Approximately $4.5 billion out of his yearly salary comes from acquired assets, which include a $1 billion Black Sea palace, vineyards, a helipad, and a bedroom with a stripper pole.

Putin is also believed to own the famous Villa Sellgren, which boasts of a gold swimming pool.

“The investigators also discovered the non-profit Revival of Maritime Traditions, which was recently sanctioned by the U.S., owns the multi-million dollar yachts, Shellest and Nega, which both have ties to Putin,” the tabloid claimed.

However, a rep for Putin denied the claims made by the tabloid and other sources when it comes to his yearly salary.

Meanwhile, Putin also made headlines recently because of his health. Multiple publications are convinced that the Russian leader doesn’t have long to live because he suffers from several health issues.

According to Metro UK, there must be something terribly wrong with Putin because he grips the table too tightly.

The same publication also revisited other reports claiming that Putin was MIA from the public eye because he underwent a series of surgeries.

Erik Bucy, a body language expert, heightened the speculations surrounding Putin’s health after he claimed that the Russian ruler doesn’t look healthy.

“This is not a portrait of a healthy Putin but one appearing increasingly feeble and barely able to hold himself upright at a small conference table. Putin’s legs also appear quite thin, as if he may be suffering from weight or muscle loss from an unannounced malady. Bloating in his face reinforces an unhealthy appearance, especially compared to photographs and video of the Russian premiere from a few years ago,” Bucy said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Putin is earning as much as $160 billion yearly or that he has illegal businesses that no one knows about.

It’s not also true that his sick or that his health is deteriorating. If it is then Putin would’ve already come clean about it.
