Ashton Kutcher had challenges being around Bruce Willis during the earlier stages of his relationship with Demi Moore.

Cheat Sheet recently unearthed an interview the “Jobs” actor did a few years ago, wherein he revealed his “jealousy” over Moore’s history with the “Die Hard” star.

Kutcher said that “it was difficult” at first, noting that Willis is “the guy who used to sleep” with his then-wife. He argued, however, that he had already overcome it, adding that “it gets easier” after doing so.

The “Butterfly Effect” actor even referred to “jealousy” as just one’s “personal insecurity.” He consequently shared an insight into his “bond” with Bruce Willis amid his marriage to Demi Moore.

The publication quoted Ashton Kutcher, saying, “I do not like everything [Willis] does, and I’m sure he does not think everything I do is great. But, being with Bruce is normal to me now.”

The “Guess Who” star continued that they had done a lot of things since becoming friends. He shared, “we go scuba-diving, skiing, we hang out with the girls together, we watch movies, we talk about sport.”

But, the said “jealousy” was not one-sided as Bruce Willis also previously expressed some of his past issues with Ashton Kutcher.

In an interview with Playboy, the veteran actor admitted that it was a “hurdle” when asked whether he ever felt jealous. He noted, however, that he was “fortunate to be the father of three daughters.”

Willis continued that “people want to hold on to resentment and anger and blame and judgment.” But, he and Demi Moore did not “because of the kids,” adding that he “credits her” as “she has such a generous spirit about the whole thing.”

The “Sixth Sense” star also acknowledged Will Smith for helping him with the matter. When asked what the “Aladdin” actor did and said to him, he shared, “during some very dark hours, he talked to me about it.”

Per Bruce Willis, Smith told him to “do whatever it takes to get the kids and the spouses or the girlfriend together. You have got to show your kids it is okay.”

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore began dating about five years after her relationship with Bruce Willis ended. They were married from 1989 to 2000, although they separated in 1998.

Us Weekly recalled that the “Killers” actor and the “G.I. Jane” star dated for two years before tying the knot in 2005.

In 2011, Moore announced her and Kutcher’s separation. She released a statement, saying, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton.”
