Gloria Estefan couldn’t allegedly be happier that she has never worked with Jennifer Lopez.

In its July 11 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Estefan expressed her disappointment in Lopez after hearing the comments that she made about Shakira.

Lopez seemingly became upset after she was told that she would share the Super Bowl stage with the Latina singer.

“Gloria feels like she dodged a bullet,” the source said.

Other sources also expressed their negative feelings towards Lopez after watching Halftime. Some dubbed her as the boss from hell, while others accused her of being a diva.

In fact, Dannii Minogue recently recounted the harrowing experience she had while working for Lopez in the 90s. She said that the mom of two had outrageous demands for her and the entire team.

“And while you hear those diva stories, there is one I can actually vouch for. I was at Top of the Pops and was told Jennifer Lopez was on her way, but she refused to perform unless her backstage room was redecorated. I was told everything had to be white, including the sofa. I asked to go in and see the room as she wasn’t there at that moment… I was lapping up every detail,” she said (via Meaww).

As of late, Lopez has not commented on the criticisms. And it seems she never would. After all, her loyal fans know that she didn’t mean to offend Shakira or anyone else for that matter.

Lopez was simply worried about splitting her time with Shakira because she was forced to slash down her performance. But she made it clear that she didn’t have anything against her fellow singer.

Meanwhile, Lopez also made headlines recently after she was praised for allowing her daughter, Emme to be true to who she is.

The 14-year-old recently came out as gender-neutral and Lopez doted on her while they were on stage.

Just before the pandemic, Emme also joined her mom on stage for a performance of “Let’s Get Loud” and her appearance was still very different from how she looks now.

Back then, Emme donned a skirt and white top. She also put her hair in a tight bun. But during her recent performance of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years,” Emme wore a hot pink ensemble complete with a matching cap.
