Vladimir Putin has been sparking health concerns among his supporters and critics.

Just recently, the wife of a Russian oligarch claimed that the rumors that Putin is ill are most likely true.

Tatiana Fokina also said that she’s worried about what the Russian president could do. After all, people who are sick have no remorse for their actions.

“There are rumors that [Putin] is ill... and I think they're likely to be true. And if they are true... that makes me really frightened because a person who is really ill doesn't really care about what happens next,” she said (via Express).

According to reports, Putin could be suffering from a slew of health issues. Some are convinced that he has cancer or Parkinson’s disease.

Russian insiders have also been spreading rumors about Putin’s health. They claimed that the president is seriously ill and that he only has a few months to live.

However, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov denied the claims. He said that Putin doesn’t seem like a person who’s suffering health-wise.

But another Russian expert countered Lavrov’s statement by saying that Putin’s face wouldn’t become bloated if he’s not sick.

“He’s been rather puffy-faced. We know that he has complained about having back issues. Even if it’s not something worse than that, it could be that he’s taking high doses of steroids, or there may be something else,” the expert said.

However, another medical expert acknowledged that the puffiness on Putin’s face could mean nothing or it could also mean something.

“I will accept he has a round face indicative of something or maybe nothing. But his behavior could be deliberately done to spoof people for something more sinister. It could all be put on, who knows. These are the dark arts that we are not practiced in,” the expert said.

As of late, Putin has not commented on his alleged health issues. He has not also made any public appearances as of late so some people are convinced that he’s in hiding.

But it is important to note that Putin and his staff are the only ones that can directly confirm if he’s struggling with his health. Until then, the public can speculate all they want but they will not know the truth because those that have been commenting do not have direct access to the Russian leader.
