Prince Harry has reportedly dropped clues that he misses Britain and his friends there a lot.

In his column for Closer UK, royal commentator Duncan Larcombe shared his observations of Prince Harry. He claimed that the dad of two has been playing polo and drinking with his friends in the United States because these are the things he used to enjoy back home.

Larcombe added that all these activities suggest that Prince Harry is feeling homesick. Luckily for him, his wife, Meghan Markle is there to cheer him on.

“Meghan is cheering him on the sidelines, helping create this perfect LA life for him to justify what he’s given up in the UK. But something doesn’t seem right. Harry looks unhappy. He is living out there in self-imposed exile and Harry is a very sociable person. In his formative years, he had a lot of friends including his estranged brother William and was always spending time with them. He must sometimes wonder if everything he has given up has been worth it,” the source said.

But Larcombe also said that Prince Harry already made the difficult choice of leaving Britain to start a new life with his wife and children. And during the queen’s Platinum Jubilee, this was made more evident when the couple didn’t sit alongside the senior working royals.

“At the Jubilee, we got to see what the reality is of Harry and Meghan choosing not to be senior royals. It’s like they’ve chosen to live their life out in the cold and that’s where they are going to stay for now. I can’t imagine that secretly there isn’t some form of heartache for Harry,” he said.

At the end of the day, the royal commentator knows that the queen wants nothing more than for her grandson to be happy. So, even if she never wanted Prince Harry to leave, she accepted his decision two years ago.

But even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer working for Her Majesty, Larcombe said that all eyes will be on them, perhaps for the rest of their lives. After all, they will also be regarded as the rogue royals that left their duties to have a more private life.

As for Prince Harry, royal fans would always wonder if he made the right decision.
