Joe Biden and Jill Biden’s marriage is allegedly on the rocks.

National Enquirer claimed in its latest issue that Joe and Jill have been having endless fights in recent months. And it has allegedly reached a point where they decided to sleep in different rooms.

A source claimed that one of the couple’s recent fights has to do with Joe’s desire to run for re-election in 2024.

“Jill worries about the toll a second term will have on Joe. She wants to leave the White House and enjoy what years they have left together,” the source said.

Other insiders believe that Jill is preventing Joe from running for office again because of his ill health. In fact, presidential historian Robert Morrow said that what Jill is doing is similar to what Lady Bird Johnson did for her husband, Lyndon.

“I think Jill Biden is doing the very same thing by trying to protect Joe from himself. But people get into the White House and their ego overtakes their better judgment. They find it very hard to release the reins of power and said, ‘I quit,’” Morrow said.

Other than this, the tabloid’s source also claimed that Jill is worried about the negative reports that will bombard Joe if he runs for president again. At the end of the day, the first lady knows that this would just do her husband more harm than good.

Additionally, Jill allegedly hates Washington. If it were only up to her, she would’ve continued teaching back home but she wanted to support her husband’s presidential bid. However, doing it all over again isn’t for her.

“Jill loathes Washington and would rather spend the summer in Rehoboth Beach, but Joe won’t hear of it. Joe is angry that Jill refuses to conform to the traditional duties as other presidents’ wives have done. It’s got to be embarrassing for him. Their marriage is a pressure cooker waiting to explode,” the source concluded.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Joe and Jill have been feuding nonstop. And it’s not also true that Jill vowed to stop supporting her husband if he runs for re-election in 2024.

By the looks of it, Jill will continue supporting Joe no matter what because she enjoys being his wife and being the first lady of the United States.
