Prince William was allegedly “furious” after he and Kate Middleton became an object of ridicule. It was said to have happened during their royal tour of the Caribbean earlier in March.

The International News released a report on the matter, noting that the claims came from Ingrid Seward. As noted, she commented on how the royal couple handled and managed the royal outing despite what happened at the time.

Speaking to Mirror UK, the royal expert claimed that the Duke of Cambridge was “understandably furious.” She added that it came after he and the Duchess of Cambridge were “ridiculed” by the public over the royal engagement.

The publication then quoted Seward, saying, “As far as [Prince William] was concerned, someone should have read the current mood of the country and acted upon it long before the schedule was arranged.”

Elsewhere in the report, the royal expert is also said to have weighed in on the future King’s “growing influence” in the British Royal Family. This comes as he recently celebrated his 40th birthday.

The expert reportedly asserted that the Duke of Cambridge’s “opinions are acted upon,” after saying “he is respected.” She also pointed out that the royal-born Prince “can be intolerant” but “not because he is disagreeable but because he cares.”

Prince William turned 40 on June 21.

Several members of the British Royal Family took their warm greetings to social media in honor of the future King of the United Kingdom.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles used their official social media accounts, with the handle, Clarence House, to share the greeting. They wished the Duke of Cambridge “a very happy 40th birthday” and included cake and balloon emojis in the caption.

The official social media accounts of the Royal Family, meanwhile, posted a “thread” on platforms, paying tribute to the royal-born Prince. On Twitter, it began with a post, greeting Prince William “a happy birthday,” along with a current photo of the royal.

The next set of tweets on the thread, features details of the life of the second person in line to the British Throne in the last four decades.

The Duke of Cambridge thanked everyone who greeted him before ending his special day. On Twitter, he posted a short tweet using his and the Duchess of Cambridge’s official account.

He tweeted, “Thank you for all the happy birthday messages today!” He signed the post with “W,” seemingly indicating that he was the one who made the tweet.
