Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton may have extended support for one another during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. An expert even reportedly said they likely “strove to ‘heal rift’” when the Sussexes were in the United Kingdom earlier this month.

Geo News stated that the body language pro, Elaine Swan, made the assertions about the two Duchesses. She is said to have spoken about the matter to Us Weekly during a recent conversation.

The expert reportedly noticed that the Duchess of Cambridge appeared to be “in sync” with the Duchess of Sussex. She is said to have seen an ongoing “communication” between the two royal sisters-in-law.

Swan is said to have explained that her assumptions came after seeing what Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton wore during the historic celebrations. She shared that the two personalities “had jewel tones as if that was the memo of the day.”

The body language expert reportedly believes that the future Queen Consort and former working royal “were still in step with that memo for the attire of the day.” She consequently pointed out that “there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than we think.”

Later, the publication stated that the efforts of both Duchesses were said to be for Queen Elizabeth II to give her the “spotlight.”

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have not shared anything about what happened during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Accordingly, the expert’s assertions are merely speculative at best unless otherwise stated or confirmed.

Amid the historic events in celebration of the Queen’s seven-decade reign, the public did not witness any interaction between the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge. Likewise, their respective husbands, Prince Harry and Prince William did not engage with each other publicly.

A source previously explained to People that the so-called royal Fab Four “did not give people the chance to speculate about their relationship.” As added, “it was meant to be all about [Queen Elizabeth II].”

Despite the lack of interaction between the two pairs before the public, a royal insider told Page Six that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry extended an “olive branch” to Prince William and Kate Middleton, according to Cosmopolitan. As reportedly explained, the former working royals invited the future King and Queen Consort to their youngest child’s first birthday celebration at Frogmore Cottage.

However, the Cambridge Royals were not able to attend the “informal garden party” due to their official duties and responsibilities during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. On the day of the birthday event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled to Wales for an official visit to Cardiff Castle, alongside two of their children.
