There reportedly was “no effort” on the part of Prince William and Kate Middleton when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in the United Kingdom. An expert explained that the senior royal pair did not even “pay attention” to having their children bond with the Sussexes’ kids.

Geo News reported that the claims were from Christopher Andersen, who told Us Weekly about the matter. He is said to have asserted that “nobody believes” the two couples spoke to each other during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The royal expert reportedly stated that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also “made no effort at all” to introduce their three young children to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s kids, especially their youngest child.

He then is noted to have added that there remains “a lot of tension” between the royal siblings.

The report comes after it was claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “extended an olive branch” to Prince William and Kate Middleton during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Express UK said the former working royals invited the Cambridge household to their youngest child’s first birthday celebration at Frogmore Cottage on Saturday.

However, the future King and Queen Consort, alongside their children, were reportedly “forced to reject” it due to their official royal duties for the day. As explained, the working royals traveled to Wales with two of their children for an official engagement at Cardiff Castle.

Later on Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Platinum Party at the Palace. It is part of the historic celebrations of the Queen’s seven-decade reign.

The same publication, later on, shared what royal insiders told Page Six about Prince William, Prince Harry, and their respective wives. As alleged, “things are still fraught,” adding that the oldest Wales prince was “still wary of spending any time along” with his younger brother.

The column also pointed out that the three young Cambridge Royals did not even see their cousins from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during the celebrations in the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, an insider told People magazine that the historic celebrations were “meant to be all about the Queen.” Accordingly, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle “did not give people the chance to speculate about their relationship.”

The claims came after the public noticed no interactions took place between the Cambridge and Sussex pairs in the United Kingdom. Although the former working royals did attend some of the events during the celebrations, they were not able to engage with the future King and Queen Consort.
