Donald Trump has been making headlines because of his hair.

Throughout the past couple of years, Americans have been speculating as to why Donald Trump’s hair is orange-blonde. Others are also wondering if the ex-president is wearing a wig and why he uses so much hair gel.

In the book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, journalist Michael Wolff claimed that Trump’s hair is a result of his scalp reduction surgery, his use of a powerful hair spray, and cheap dye to color his hair.

Wolff also said Trump’s favorite daughter, Ivanka Trump shared with him the styling process that goes through with her dad’s hair. This allegedly includes a scalp-reduction surgery surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front.

Ivanka also revealed that Trump’s unusual hair color is a result of using a product called Just for Men. The product allegedly darkens the color of the hair depending on how long you leave it on.

“Impatience resulted in Trump’s orange-blonde hair color,” Wolff wrote.

This suggests that if Trump waited for the right amount of time before he removed the hair product, his hair color would’ve looked better and more even.

Trump’s former chief of staff, Melanie Grisham also claimed that the ex-POTUS uses huge scissors to trim his hair. And the former president is just obsessed with everything related to his hair.

In 2014, Trump claimed that the only person he trusts to cut his hair is his wife, Melania Trump. But when he was still starring in The Apprentice, the former president used to spend $70,000 on his hairstyle. He also paint a hair and makeup stylist favored by Ivanka for $95,000.

During an interview, stylist Tommy Buckett said that he was surprised to know how much money Trump spends on his hair.

“I don’t know how it could possibly cost that much. Even at top salons here in Manhattan, a men's haircut is going to be about $150. It would be more for a home visit, which I'm sure is what he gets, but not that much more. Unless he has a stylist who is charging him an insane amount and then laughing all the way to the bank. Trump is the sort of client, too, who probably thinks just because he's spending a lot of money for something that means it's good. But you can't buy taste,” he said (via Town & Country).
