Meghan Markle has allegedly been trying to lose as much weight as she can before the queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

In its June 6 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Markle is doing everything that she can to impress the royal family, as well as the royal fans.

However, a source claimed that whatever the Duchess of Sussex does won’t sit well with Britons. After all, they dislike her and her husband, Prince Harry.

The source also claimed that Kate Middleton couldn’t care about Markle’s weight loss.

“Kate has no interest – now or ever – in listening to Meghan’s sob stories and excuses. She didn’t want Meghan at the ceremonies and dreaded the prospect of coming face to face under any circumstances. She’s been polite and courteous, of course, as is her husband, William, but they made it known they’re too busy to socialize,” the source said.

The source added that the feud between the Sussexes and the Cambridges has gone further than what royal fans anticipated. And now, it seems that their relationships will no longer be repaired regardless of what efforts Markle would exert.

“There’s little to zero chance of any lasting peace between the two duchesses. Meghan seems determined to one-up Kate, who insists the only path to lasting peace would be receiving a meaningful public apology from Meghan, which everyone knows will never happen,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

There’s no proof that Markle is trying to lose weight to one-up Middleton and impress the royal family. After all, she will be the one to benefit if she adheres to a strict diet and start having a healthy lifestyle.

Prior to the arrival of her two children, Markle also led a healthy lifestyle. In fact, she used to do yoga regularly. And she also eats healthy foods and snacks.

This week, she was photographed looking her best when she visited the memorial of the 21 people that were shot and killed in Texas.

It’s not also true that Markle wants to impress the royal family and the royal fans when she sets foot in Britain next month. After all, the queen’s Platinum Jubilee isn’t about the Duchess of Sussex. But it is true that all eyes would be on her and her entire family.
