Queen Elizabeth couldn’t allegedly contain her excitement when she found out that Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children will be relocating to Adelaide Cottage.

In its May 23 issue, Life & Style claimed that the queen appreciates Prince William and Middleton’s effort to live close to her especially now that she’s not getting any younger.

A source also claimed that the queen has been feeling bouts of loneliness since Prince Philip’s death. So, having some family members around will help her recover and have better days.

“William and Kate want to be there to support and keep her company. And the queen is welcoming them with open arms,” the source said.

The source also claimed that the monarch is excited to spend more time with her great-grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

“The queen has a close connection to Kate and William’s kids. George loves hearing stories about the queen’s own childhood, and she calls Charlotte her mini-me because they’re so similar in personality and share a lot of the same interests, like reading,” the source said.

The queen is also, allegedly, looking forward to getting to know Prince Louis a little better. After all, they have not bonded as much because Prince Louis is still very young.

“There’s a lot the queen missed out on with her own kids and grandchildren, but now that she’s handing off more of her official responsibilities, she’s eager to be a prominent figure in her great-grandchildren’s lives,” the source said.

As for Prince William, the future king is allegedly looking forward to having tea with the queen more often. After all, he would soon live just down the street from Her Majesty.

Following the couple’s move, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will allegedly start looking for a coed school where they can enroll Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis in. This way, all three of their kids will be part of the same institution.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As exciting as they might sound, nothing has been finalized yet. Prince William and Middleton won’t relocate to Adelaide Cottage. And no one knows for sure if the rumors that the couple wants to live close to the queen are even true.

For now, the Cambridges still reside at Kensington Palace.
