Howard Stern called out Johnny Depp and deemed him a “huge narcissist.” He, also, asserted that the actor is “overacting” in his defamation trial against Amber Heard.

Page Six reported that the assertions emerged from the radio personality during his SiriusXM radio show on Monday. As per Mediaite, he was discussing the highly publicized legal battle between the former celebrity couple.

Stern stated that Depp wanted the trial televised because “that’s what narcissists do.” He repeated his claims by saying the actor was a “huge narcissist,” adding that he is “putting on a show.”

The personality continued that the “Fantastic Beasts” alum is “overacting because he is writing his own material as he goes along.”

Howard Stern, later on, asserted that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard sound like “two battling children” as their legal battle continues. He, also, reportedly predicted that two celebrities’ respective careers cannot be saved regardless of the outcome of the trial.

Elsewhere in the radio show’s Monday segment, the host poked fun, as well, at the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star’s accent. He claimed that the actor’s “difficulty in speaking the English language is fantastic.”

He continued, “isn’t he from, like, the South of the Midwest? Johnny Depp was born in Kentucky.” He, then, rhetorically asked, “does that sound like a guy from Kentucky?”

Howard Stern might have been critical of Johnny Depp, as well as his former wife, Amber Heard, amid the legal battle. But, there are celebrities who have expressed their support toward the “Into The Woods” star.

Geo News released a run-down of some of the personalities who previously shared their thoughts and sentiments about the ongoing battle between the former couple. These include Winona Ryder and Vanessa Paradis, who are former partners of the “Dark Shadows” actor.

Ryder reportedly defended Depp and noted that he is a “good person.” She does not believe that the actor is an abuser.

Paradis, with whom the “Edward Scissorhands” actor share two children, had similar assertions. She said that they “raised two beautiful children together” before adding, “he is a generous, attentive, kind, and non-violent man.”

The French celebrity continued that she knows about the “allegations Amber Heard made publicly. This is nothing like the Johnny [Depp] I know. He was never violent or abusive to me.”

Johnny Depp is suing his former wife, Amber Heard, for defamation. This is a response from his camp following the op-ed the actress previously wrote for The Washington Post, detailing her experience with domestic violence.

Insider recalled that the piece did not mention Depp’s name. Even so, it was “widely interpreted as being about him.”
