Jada Pinkett Smith recently made some shocking revelations about her married life.

The Gotham star said that she didn’t really want to get married and was so upset that she had to tie the knot years ago. As such, Jada couldn’t stop herself from crying while walking down the aisle.

At the time, the actress was already pregnant with her first child, Jaden that’s why her mom forced her to wed Will Smith.

However, Jada clarified that she didn’t have a problem marrying her husband. Her main issue was that she didn’t want to tie the knot. So, if she and Will could’ve eloped to a mountain then this would’ve been much better for her.

But Globe, in its May 2 issue, claimed that Jada’s revelations prove that her marriage to Will is falling apart. However, this isn’t necessarily the case. And by the looks of it, the tabloid is just making a big fuss over what Jada said because of the controversy that Will was involved in at the Oscars.

Last month, the Aladdin actor made headlines after he slapped Chris Rock while the latter was teasing Jada about her alopecia. At first, A-list attendees thought that it was all just an act but they later found out that Will became enraged with the comedian.

Since then, Will has been suspended from the Academy. He could no longer attend events or even receive awards for the next 10 years. The actor also released a statement apologizing for his actions and said that he would be seeking help for his anger issues.

As for Jada, the actress has also spoken out following the incident. She said that she didn’t ask her husband to defend her from Rock. She also told fans that her family is going through healing at the moment.

“Considering all that has happened in the last few weeks, the Smith family has been focusing on deep healing. Some of the discoveries around our healing will be shared at the table when the time calls. Until then…The Table will continue offering itself to powerful, inspiring, and healing testimonies like that of our incredibly impressive first guest. Thanks for joining us,” her statement read.

On March 29, Jada also posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account about healing, which fans believed was her way of indirectly responding to the issue.
