Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly plan to ditch Los Angeles for New York.

In its April 25 issue, Heat UK claimed that Prince Harry and Markle have been house hunting in New York for months. The couple allegedly wants to stay in the Big Apple because they think they could make a huge impact there.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not want to stay in Los Angeles any longer because they feel that they didn’t get the support that they were hoping for there.

“To be honest, they’ve failed to break into any Hollywood circles. They had hoped to become a part of the elite, with friends such as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, the Spielbergs, the Obamas, and the Clooneys. But they can’t seem to get a foot in the door. There’s a reason you’re not seeing the front and center at Hollywood dinners and events and it’s not by choice,” the source said.

According to the source, Prince Harry and Markle thought that they would get invited everywhere once they move to California. But this is far from what happened.

“They’ve ended up being quite isolated. But there’s no better place on the planet to bounce back than Manhattan. Meghan’s very excited and is making a ton of ambitious plans, both professionally and socially,” the source said.

Another upside to the couple moving to New York is that they would be closer to the United Nations. Prince Harry and Markle allegedly plan to become more involved in the organization and they also want to help as many people as they possibly can.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

Prince Harry and Markle have not expressed any desire to relocate to New York.

But during his interview with TODAY, the Duke of Sussex hinted at the possibility of leaving the United States at one point.

While talking to host Hoda Kotb, he said that he considers the United States his home for now. Shortly after the interview aired, royal experts became convinced that in a few years’ time, Prince Harry and Markle could relocate to another country.

However, it’s unlikely for them to return to British soil permanently. After all, Prince Harry still has issues with his and his family’s security there.
