Barbra Streisand allegedly rejected a generous offer to perform in Las Vegas for her fans.

In its April 25 issue, Globe claimed that the veteran actress suffers from extreme stage fright. So, even if she was offered $300 million to perform in Sin City, she still said no.

“All of the resort casinos have been after Barbra to do a residency and keep upping the pay that would her one of, if not the highest-earning star in Las Vegas. A $300 million offer is still on the table and her hubby, James Brolin, is encouraging her to take it but she keeps refusing. She may have done concerts in the past but she hates, loathes, and despises singing in public,” the source said.

During a previous interview, Streisand revealed that performing live has always been stressful for her. The singer also said that she doesn’t like to go to fittings and walk on stage while everyone else is below her in the audience.

According to the source, Streisand’s stage fright is much worse than what Adele experienced when she decided to cancel her Las Vegas residency.

“Barbra’s worse than Adele. She can perform in private settings, but a big-scale concert spanning weeks or months scares the daylights out of her. People around her are saying she’ll be losing out on a fortune if she doesn’t try,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Streisand may find performing for a live audience stressful, but this has never stopped her from serenading her fans altogether.

In fact, Streisand has been performing for her fans for years. So, if this has been a huge struggle for her, she wouldn’t have done it in the first place.

Additionally, there’s also no indication that Streisand was offered $300 million to perform in Las Vegas. If she was, it’s more likely for the singer to accept the deal.

This isn’t the only rumor surrounding Streisand in recent months.

Last year, a tabloid claimed that her marriage to Brolin is falling apart because of their differences.

However, this doesn’t make much sense because the couple has been together for decades. So, it’s unlikely for them to have only realized their differences in recent months.

By the looks of it, the tabloid just used Streisand as clickbait.
