Jason Aldean allegedly has a crush on British singer Adele.

In its March 21 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Aldean has gone ga-ga over Adele. After all, the country artist thinks that Adele has one of the nicest voices in the music industry today.

“Jason’s in awe of her talent but more than that he’s got a huge crush on her. He thinks she’s turned into a full-blown hottie now that she’s gotten all fit and he openly says it,” the source said.

The insider also pointed out that Aldean is married to his 33-year-old wife, Brittany. But the latter doesn’t allegedly seem concerned about his obsession for Adele.

“His wife isn’t the least bit threatened. Brittany says she has a girl crush on her too. At this point, Jason has had no response from Adele or her camp about his desire to perform with her. But he’s a persistent guy. He won’t stop trying,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Aldean is aware of all the criticisms that Adele received after she decided to cancel her shows in Las Vegas at the last minute.

And the country musician couldn’t help but be upset for Adele because it seems no one took her side on the matter.

“So many people in the industry have been trashing Adele and calling her unprofessional for canceling all her shows. She’s getting almost no sympathy around town, which bugs the heck out of Jason. He can’t stand how judgmental people are being. He’s been defending her to anyone that will listen. Of course, he’s hoping it will eventually get back to her and score him some points because he’s really got his heart set on teaming up with her,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

First of all, Aldean isn’t obsessed with Adele. Even if he might be a fan of the “Easy on Me” singer, there’s no indication that he’s been going through great lengths just to share a duet with her.

And it doesn’t also make sense for Aldean to show support for Adele only because he wants to sing with her. If he wanted to perform with the singer, his agent could work something out by pretending that he’s sympathetic toward his fellow singer.

The claims of the tabloid aren’t just incorrect, they also seem very absurd.
