Halsey trended on social media after greeting BTS member Suga on his birthday. She posted heartfelt photos on Instagram, and it reportedly sent many ARMYs “in tears.”

Cheat Sheet reported that the avid fans and followers of the K-pop group deemed the post “precious.” Although there were three photos, it was the first image that caught the eyes of the public.

As noted, it featured Suga holding the “Eastside” singer’s first-born son. It appeared to be recent, considering she only gave birth to him in July.

Several individuals reportedly shared their thoughts to various media platforms, including Reddit. While some praised the two artists for the photo, others expressed how it made many “teary-eyed.”

The other two photos are, also, in black and white. The one in the middle of the image strip featured the BTS member holding a drinking glass, while the last picture showed Halsey and Suga smiling for a mirror selfie.

As for the caption, the “Without Me” singer wrote “happy bday twin” and placed a birthday cake gif. She posted it as a story on the platform on March 8, and March 9 in South Korea, marking Suga’s 29th birthday.

As a “story” on Instagram, it lasted only 24 hours. But, several ARMY members seemingly copied the post and reshared it to other media platforms.

The Indian Express said that many BTS fans and followers were “so overwhelmed” with the birthday greeting from Halsey. Most of the re-posts even obtained hundreds of thousands of likes, especially on Twitter, likely causing the American artist to trend.

Halsey’s close friendship with the seven BTS members has been public knowledge. She first met the K-pop idols at the Billboard Music Awards in 2017.

Two years later, she collaborated with the septet for “Boy With Luv.” It is the lead single of the group’s 2019 extended play, “Map of the Soul: Persona.”

In the same year, the 27-year-old artist dropped a new track, “Suga’s Interlude.” As the title states, it features the South Korean rapper, and it became part of her 2020 album, “Manic.”

Halsey and the BTS idols have continued to maintain their close ties despite the distance. They engage on social media from time to time, with the “Dynamite” singers even congratulating their co-artist when she welcomed her son in 2021.

Meanwhile, it remains unclear how Suga celebrated his birthday in South Korea. But, reports said that fans and followers of the idol put together a series of projects and gifts to mark the special day.
