Kate Middleton is allegedly pressuring Prince William to have baby number four with her.

In its March 14 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Middleton’s recent engagement made her think of having another baby with her husband.

After all, she met some adorable babies along the way and couldn’t help mentioning them to Prince William when she got home.

A source claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge is insistent on having another baby with Prince William at least before she turns 41.

“As soon as she got home, Kate couldn’t help mentioning it to him again. She’s 40 now, so time is running out. She’s really been pushing hard for baby number four. She’s actually starting to wear William down – friends think there could be a big announcement coming later this year,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Middleton has always adored babies. And now that her three children are much older, she thinks that it’s the perfect time to add another one to the mix.

Of course, if it were only up to her, Middleton wants her fourth child to be a girl. This way, she would have two sons and two daughters.

“A girl would not only balance out their family beautifully but Charlotte would have a sister, which was so important for Kate to have growing up. And it’s not like it’s unprecedented. The queen has four kids,” the source said.

However, Middleton still needs to get through Prince William if she wants to have another baby. After all, the dad of three is already content with having three kids.

The source claimed that the Duke of Cambridge doesn’t want to have more children because having a fourth child would just put more pressure on him and Middleton as a couple.

Prince William and Middleton’s schedules are already hectic as they are so it’s unlikely for the former to want to add more pressure on their family and their relationship.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

There’s no proof that Middleton has been encouraging Prince William to have another baby with her. The Duchess of Cambridge must already know where her husband stands on the matter.

There’s also no reason for Prince William and Middleton to put more pressure on their relationship and schedules.
