Prince Andrew allegedly wants to relocate to the United States so that he could start a new life there.

In its March 7 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that the dad of two also wants to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who relocated to the United States two years ago.

Prince Andrew recently reached a settlement with his accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre. But even if this is the case, he still wants to leave the United Kingdom because of all the negative things that happened to him there.

“Prince Andrew has likened his situation to that of his nephew, Prince Harry. He is contemplating following in the footsteps of the younger royal, feeling there might be the possibility of a new life for him in the world of broadcasting, public speaking, and even publishing,” a source said.

The insider also claimed that Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband wants the whole world to know that he cannot be canceled.

“Andrew has made it clear he might be down, but he is certainly not out, and he’s determined to return to a public role, even if it’s without the family’s blessing,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no indication that Prince Andrew wants to relocate to the United States.

And this doesn’t make sense because his sexual abuse case was filed in the country and not in the United Kingdom.

So, it seems more likely for the Duke of York to want to avoid setting foot in the United States.

There’s also no indication that Prince Andrew has been comparing his situation with that of Prince Harry’s because their struggles and issues are different.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew also made headlines recently after a source claimed that he’s heartbroken after his reputation was left in tatters because of the sexual abuse allegations.

“He is down, he is broken. If he wants to dress up once in a while in a naval uniform, then let him. His reputation is in tatters, his public life is over. He is a walking embarrassment. He hasn’t been convicted of anything. I have no idea whether he is guilty or innocent, so I think he has paid quite a heavy price,” a source told Mirror UK.

Prince Andrew and Giuffre’s settlement will also benefit a charity that the latter supports.
