Rich Paul has allegedly been having doubts when it comes to his and Adele’s baby plans.

In its Feb. 12 issue, Closer UK claimed that Adele and Paul were set on having a baby sometime this year. But the latter suddenly had a change of heart.

Since he was no longer sure as to when he’ll be ready to have a baby with his girlfriend, Paul was left with no other choice but to tell Adele the truth.

“Rich dropped the bombshell that he was having second thoughts about trying for a baby during her Vegas rehearsals, which completely threw her. It was a bit of a U-turn as they’d talked about starting a family together. Adele had been hoping to start trying for another baby this year, so to hear Rich was getting cold feet about the idea and that they potentially wanted different things, was upsetting,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Adele and Paul are still trying to figure out how they can reach a compromise. After all, they love each other deeply and want to make their relationship work.

However, it’s only a matter of time before Adele or Paul get their way because the source also said that it would be difficult for the couple to reach a compromise.

But one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s unlikely for Paul and Adele to already be having discussions about their baby plans because they’ve only been dating for a few months.

It’s not also true that Paul refused to have a baby with the British singer. What’s more likely is that the couple has not talked about these kinds of matters.

Adele is also dealing with a lot lately so there’s no reason for her to want to rush into having another baby.

Last month, the “Rolling in the Deep” singer was embroiled in a major controversy after she decided to cancel her shows in Las Vegas at the last minute.

Fans of Adele were enraged because they already spent thousands of dollars on the ticket, hotel and flight bookings, and more.

However, Adele explained that she couldn’t push through with her show because it just wasn’t ready. After all, several members of her team tested positive for COVID-19 in recent weeks.
