Jennifer Lopez is allegedly worried about her boyfriend Ben Affleck relapsing.

In its Feb. 14 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Affleck could be on the verge of another relapse if Lopez won’t help him out.

The tabloid published a photo of the Tender Actor looking red and wasted during one of his date nights with Lopez.

According to the source, Affleck’s photo shows that the actor could be in danger. Luckily for him, he has Lopez in his corner.

“Ben’s been doing really well with his sobriety since Jen’s been on the scene, and she’s keen to keep it that way. At the start of their renewed romance, she was careful to keep most of their dates low-key, or around friends who were understanding of his struggles to stay sober,” the source said.

But in the past couple of months, things have allegedly been going well for Affleck.

“But now he’s feeling up to going out on the town with a wider social circle, and she’s keeping a watchful eye on him to make sure he isn’t being tempted by a cocktail menu just because people around them are boozing,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no indication that Affleck is on the verge of a relapse. In fact, the dad of three has been sober for over a year.

In 2019, Affleck fell off the wagon. But he also had his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner by his side at the time. In fact, it was the Alias star that drove Affleck to a rehab facility.

Since then, Affleck has been doing well. He has a lot of projects lined up and he also has a healthy relationship with Lopez.

During a recent interview with People, the Marry Me actress shared how her relationship with Affleck right now differs from their relationship years ago.

The mom of twins said that she and Affleck are much older now, and they also have children so they always have to take their kids into consideration.

“It's a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other. We always did, but we have even more of an appreciation because we know that life can take you in different directions,” Lopez said.
